This is the marriage bond of my 5G-Grandparents, Daniel
Hillenberg and Mary Barbara Shrader. My
best guess is that it reads as follows:
I do hereby certify that Daniel Hillenberg hath obtained my free consent to join with my
Daughter Barbary Shrader in the State of Matrimony. and the Clerk is requested to grant
license accordingly, With my hand that this 24th Day of March 1787. Signed by
Mary Barbara's father John
Shrader.

This is the marriage bond of my 6G-Grandparents, Conrad Rader and Elizabeth
Ory. My best guess is it reads as follows:

these presents that we Conrad Rader and Dan Etter of the County of Montgomery State of
Virginia, are held firmly bound to the Governer for the time being, in the Just and Full
sum of fifty pounds current money to the payment of XX we bind ourselves our XX each of
us, our XXXX be firmly by these presents, Sealed with our Seals dated this 3rd day of July
1788. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above Bound Conrad
Rader hath this day obtd a license for his marriage to Elisabeth Ory of X County XXX XX
there shall be no lawful cause to obstruct this marriage then the above obligation to be
void else to remain in XXXXXX signed sealed and delivered in the presence of (signature of
William Trigg) The document is signed by Conrad Rader and Daniel
